Here at the One Water Summit, water has a different but critical meaning to each of us.
We want to hear those stories.
The Nature Conservancy and the City of Austin Watershed Department are creating an archive of past, present and future stories of water. This Thursday and Friday, we will be collecting as many stories as we can from attendees of One Water Summit to be housed in a StoryCorps community and saved in the Library of Congress.
To participate, please grab a friend, colleague or stranger, get comfortable and share stories that illustrate why water matters to you.
This story tells a short snippet of work in Atlanta, GA to grow a community-centered movement on Atlanta’s westside to seek environmental justice through improved water quality and shared water governance.
