Description
At just 12 years old, Edith Frankie’s life was turned upside down. She went from having friends to being called an ugly jew, having rocks and mud thrown at her, and being forced to wear the yellow star on all of her clothes. She went from being with her family of five to never seeing her brother, father, or mother again. From two minutes and 41 seconds in to five minutes and 41 seconds Edith talks about being first taken in Auschwitz and how they were treated before being put to work. Edith tells us her horrifying story that will leave you with such a powerful message. Camden Allvey went to interview Edith on December 29, 2019 in Studio City. Edith is still happy, funny, and quick witted at 93 years old. Edith Frankie is an inspiration and an incredible person.Participants
