00:03 How old are you?

00:05 49.

00:07 And what is your occupation?

00:11 I buy real estate that's usually distressed, renovate it and sell it.

00:19 So how has living through this experience made you feel regarding Covid?

00:25 Frustrated.

00:27 Why?

00:29 Because a lot of the things that you took to be as normal are no longer that way. And the way things have to be done and handled and processed through is sometimes a much longer process and more cumbersome. So it creates for frustration.

00:53 Okay. Are you afraid? And if you are, what frightens you?

00:57 Am I afraid of it?

00:58 Yeah.

00:59 No.

01:01 Okay. Um. What has given you comfort and hope during this time?

01:10 The fact that there's been two other types of flu like these in the past history that we've gotten through them and moved on. So I knew that eventually we would get through this. It's just a matter of time. Let no one knew how long, know how long that time will be.

01:30 Okay. And what has been the most challenging part of this experience.

01:36 Initially? The lack of socialization and being able to go out and do normal things that you've always done before, like restaurants and just being out around people.

01:50 Okay. And are there any days that are tough or better days with.

01:57 No, they're all about the same.

02:00 Okay. And what's the biggest way your life has changed because of this pandemic?

02:07 There's so much more that's online instead of being in person. In some instances it's good. In some instances, I don't like it. I buy houses at an auction, and the auction used to always be in person, which I preferred. Now it's online. And I feel that online it's not nearly as good or it's a totally different experience. And I don't care for it. I prefer the in person, but that seems to be a thing of the past. Now.

02:44 Is there someone that you can't see right now who you really wish you could?

02:50 No.

02:53 How is this experience different from other historical events you've lived through?

03:01 I don't know that I've ever lived through anything that has had this much effect on the world and on your daily life as it has, as this has. So I have really nothing to compare it to.

03:16 Do you, have you ever had Covid? And if you have, what was your experience?

03:25 I think I had it, but it was. It was just a feeling of being very tired and run out, run down. So it's really. It's been a non issue.

03:42 What memory of this time do you think will stay with you?

03:54 I don't know. I guess just the whole fact of when you walk and seeing people with masks on everywhere, it just is very bizarre, that image.

04:05 Okay. And has this experience ever changed you? And if so, how?

04:11 No, it hasn't changed me. You know, I thought from the beginning that, you know, just do the things you should do to keep certain people safe, older people safe, and the rest of the world should carry on, but it did turn out that way.

04:35 What have you learned most from this experience?

04:47 There's crazy people on both sides of the spectrum with all kinds of. From the super fearful they live in a bubble to the ones that think the whole thing is made up. So.

05:08 Where do you stand with that?

05:10 I don't think it's made up. I certainly don't live in a bubble. I think that for people who are healthy and don't have health issues, they should have been the whole entire time carrying on with their lives. And in doing so, you're going to have people to get sick. And that's a good thing because then that creates, you know, immunity amongst the population and to shut everything down and send everyone home and hide out in your houses and wear a mask everywhere you go, I think it creates a lot of collateral damage. As far as the overall health of the population's immune system was seriously declined.

06:08 And do you worry about your family or inner circle of friends at the moment with COVID.

06:20 Maybe the older people, just because you worry about that with the regular flu, if they get the flu, that could. It could be lethal. As far as the younger people and people that are my age and. No, because again, it's something that, you know, you can, you know, work your way through.

06:49 Okay, thank you.
