A call from across the country that will make you smile

Description

In this interview my great grandpa, Richard Mast explains his childhood, to his adulthood, and even when he served in the Vietnam War. He expresses the way he met and how he proposed to my late great grandmother (who I never got to meet) despite the fact he was in the Navy about to go to war. Later on, my great grandfather talks about how he and his parents were not very rich, but rather on the poor side, yet he was there and helped support his family. My great grandfather provided me with amazing information about his past despite him having dementia. (I apologize in advance). Also the interview was made over a phone call due to the distance between us; he lives in San Diego, California. Lastly, to help him hear better, my Uncle Sean is in the background to repeat the question to him.
