In this interview, conducted in November 2017 in Allentown, New Jersey, Asmitha Sathya (14) interviews her father, Sathya Gopalreddy (51), about growing up in India. Mr. Gopalreddy shares some of his cherished memories as a child, along with the crazy things he did with his friends. He unveils the fear he felt leaving his beloved home and finding the courage to survive in a new country. At the end, Mr. Gopalreddy explains how the man he is today is someone he would have never imagined, but also someone he is equally grateful for.
