Marine geochemist Christopher Jones has lots of food stories from his time on JOIDES Resolution, ranging from chocolate oranges to Cheez-Its. But he also has stories about working with fellow scientists and connections to coastal communities. For this episode of Tales from the Deep, Chris speaks about his time on IODP Expedition 398 and how his time at sea expanded his interest in the intersections of society and human history, with geology and geologic history.
