Betsy Sharp asked Andrew Nichols why he left the mormon church and he explained it was to do with the lack of outcome he saw from praying or not praying. He still carries the values of the religion without practicing it.
When discussing the person who'd influenced her the most, Betsy brought up her children which led her and Andrew to discuss parenting and boundaries.
Betsy discussed her support but concerns with LGBTQ activism and Andrew agreed with her and provided an analogy about activism needing to be more about education than guilt.
Andrew down into the nuances of how environmentalism advocation needs to work.
