There have not been many illustrators that have sailed aboard JOIDES Resolution. But Kellan Moss shows that her scientific illustrations document so much more than a digital camera. Kellan sailed as an Outreach Officer on Expedition 401 and describes how artwork can showcase emotion, passion, and a point-of-view well beyond any photograph.
