Environmental chemist Marc Kramer, Washington State University, has spent an inordinate amount of time talking and climate and weather in the rural parts of your nation. As he says in this interview, “there isn’t a single farmer who isn't interested in the weather”, putting him in the interesting position of speaking with populations skeptical of climate change in popular culture, but understanding its consequences through their own livelihoods. Over the years, he’s worked on refining his ability to engage stakeholders in a practical discussion, even citing the fact that he makes pretty good bar-b-que ribs. (Recorded 11 December 2018)
