Description

Jonathan Fairbanks had just made tenure as a junior professor when he decided to leave the college leaving tenure behind, to bring his Innovative program to a private college where he felt it could flourish. This is the story of his initial idea, how he sold it, the bumps in the road in developing it including a suicide of a key partner oh, and the decision to move the family and leave a lifelong dream property in order to facilitate the success of the program. The story concludes when the economy failed, the program ended, career moved on, and then full circle back to the property for retirement.
