00:00 My name is Justine Mendoza I am 23 years old. Today is 11, 29, 23. I'm speaking with Jose Mendoza He's my dad and we're recording in his room. So tell me about your brother and sister. How would you describe them?
00:17 Well, my sister is the eldest of the three siblings. She is 55 years old. I am 53. The youngest is my brother, 52. My sister is a manager at an accounting firm. My brother is a paralegal at the irs. And I am an in house attorney at Coldwell Banker. My sister's a very responsible go getter type of person who's very shrewd with her money. My younger brother is kind of not as shrewd with his money. Doesn't you know, but is very giving with his money. And they're both very nice people.
01:10 Okay, and can you tell me one of your happiest childhood memories and one of your worst childhood memories?
01:17 Yes, one of my happiest childhood memories was when we all went to Disneyland for the first time back in the days in the 70s. They actually had tickets. The best rides required the best tickets. And those tickets are called E tickets that you would take from the booklet and give to the right attendant to enter the ride. And at that point, the best E ticket for me was the Matterhorn. And I think that was probably one of the greatest moments of my childhood experience. Partly one of the worst was in the Philippines when my maid broke my arm and tied me upside down on the staircase and put live crabs underneath because she was a mean person.
02:11 Is that the thing really she did that is? No, I've never heard that. That's terrible. Okay, well, can you tell me about your relationship with your parents? And do you remember a time when you felt particularly close to either one of them and a time when you made them angry?
02:32 Well, my relationship with my parents now are. They are both deceased. So, you know, we have a more spiritual relationship and a relationship filled with memories of the past. What am I? Memorable experiences was one time my father waited up for us in the middle of the night and then when we came home, all the lights were closed. And then he opened it up and he had a knife filled with fake blood on it that he took from the apartment building next door because I, along with my friends were playing like kill the apartment kids. And we had a knife, a fake knife, pretending we were stabbing kids.
03:25 So he was waiting there with the knife.
03:28 Yes. Scolding me for what the fuck was I doing.
03:32 Okay, thank you so much for participating.
03:36 You're welcome. I will bill you accordingly.
