Eva on becoming an archivist by accident in 1971 after a long divorce. She began to work at the Radcliffe College Woman's Archive part-time.
Eva on publishing and archiving published pieces. On the question of access to the collections she managed.
On letter writing and the problems associated with archiving letters.
She remembers endowing her positions when she retired. She explains the 5 reasons why the job of an archivist was ideal for her.
Anne asks Eva is she would go back into the archive profession if she was currently 21 years old. Eva speaks on the difference between technocratic and humanistic approaches to archives.
