In this motivating interview, Dr. Siaperas describes his lived experience as an agent of change in the occupational therapy profession as well as the meaningful career and life that occupational therapy has afforded. Dr. Siaperas, PhD, CPsycholAFBPsS is the Head of the Occupational Therapy Program at Metropolitan College of Athens, Greece, has published in refereed journals and handbooks, is an international journal reviewer, and a participant in research projects and in national and international scientific conferences. The most important role of Dr. Siaperas is of the accreditation of the first and only, four-year, occupational therapy program at a private college, in collaboration with Queen Margaret University of Edinburgh, UK. The quality of this program is the highest in the country, and has surpassed the quality of the existing State OT program. He also represents Greece as a Board Member of the European Network of OT in Higher Education.
