Cindie Dnistrian (57) talks with her husband, Steve Dnistrian (57), about the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, as viewed from the front desk of one nursing home in central New Jersey. Cindie found herself at the front lines of an emerging, global pandemic with so much unknown and, shortly thereafter, so much death around her on a daily basis among the facility's elderly population. Here are her reflections and memories, which speak to the love and courage of one person AMONG MANY on the front lines caring for others at a dark time.
