Description

Eva was eight months old when Hitler come to power. Her father was part of the resistance and fled with her and her brothers to Marseille, France then on to Lyon where he continued to fight for the resistance. Her mother had stayed behind to finish school, but was forced out. Her mother and grandparents soon joined them. They were constantly on the move from the Nazis. At one point near the end of the war two Nazi soldier stayed with them in their apartment not knowing they were Jewish. They eventually were able to get out of France and immigrate to the U.S.

Eva has written a book about her family and their escape from the Nazis, titled, Eva's Uncommon Life, Guided by Miracles
