Description

Interviewer: Zane Shamblin
Interviewee: Isabelle Shamblin

Why did you choose the elder you did?
I chose to interview my sister because she is currently attending college, and wanted to know about her experiences, as well as any advice she'd have for me.

What do you think or how do you feel about your interview? Did you learn anything new?
From the interview, I learned that my sister is a simple yet driven person. She prefers smaller communities, quieter rooms, and plenty of alone time. However, she is physically and academically competitive, and seeks to succeed to her full potential. Isabelle is a hard worker, who recognizes that she is a model for others, and a strong leader. Overall, I learned that she, no matter what, will have a never-ending love for Taylor Swift, and will always miss her kitties more than her siblings (not really).

How might this knowledge impact your relationship to the individual and/or your understanding of the world, humanity?
After the interview, I grew a newfound respect for my sister. She is responsible, sets priorities, and makes the right choices. I admire her and wish that I could one day share the same motivation to succeed that she does. From her, my understanding of the world has become a little bit more clear, as she has answered a few of my questions regarding humanity. I learned to recognize that within each person is someone worth caring for, despite all the negativity they influence.
