00:03 My name is Lana Her I am 18 years old. Today is May 3, 2022, and I'm speaking with. Call her. Who is my dad. We are recording this interview in Centerton, Arkansas. Alright, dad, say hello.

00:16 Hello.

00:16 Okay. Alright. The first question I want to ask is what are some of the most important lessons you've learned in life?

00:25 Always respect your elders, listen to your elders and go to school.

00:30 Why would you say that?

00:34 Well, I remember your grandfather always told me to go to school and I never took him seriously. And then after you become 18, every job application, everything you applied for, a loan, they're going to ask, what's your highest level of education? And there's a reason behind that.

01:00 That's true. Yeah. Okay. All right, next question. If you could hold on to one memory from your life forever, which would it be?

01:11 It would be a memory of you, Lana.

01:14 Why me?

01:15 I be you. Tim. Lana, I mean, Tim, Aiden, all you guys still as kids. And Mom.

01:23 Why? Why us as kids? You don't want us now?

01:25 Oh, you guys are a little bit more difficult.

01:29 But what, what memory of us as kids, though? Which one?

01:32 When you guys were still amazed by everything.

01:37 But wait, but is there like a specific memory, specific moment? Because I know that we used to spend a lot of time at grandma and grandpa's house. So like.

01:43 No, just when you were still amazed of about everything.

01:47 Oh my God. Okay, all right, next question. How has your life been different than what you'd imagine? Like, what did you want to be when you were little? And then like from where you are now?

02:02 My life, I would imagine, man, my life is. I didn't think. I didn't think I had kids. Oh, yeah, I have kids.

02:16 That's it.

02:18 I never thought I owned a house.

02:19 Okay, if you didn't have a kid, if you didn't have kids, then what did you think that it would be like?

02:25 I thought it would have been just fun all the time. Like you would think right now, right?

02:31 Like what? Like traveling or just laying in bed all the time.

02:34 Yeah, you don't. You don't think about nothing else, Right. You only think fun, fun, fun. But then a kid comes out along and you're like, oh my God.

02:42 Okay, yeah, I can see that all.

02:44 Your plans get sidetracked, so.

02:48 Okay, dang. So we ruined your plans.

02:51 I didn't have any plans. I was just going with the flow though.

02:54 Oh, okay, okay, okay, okay. That sounds a lot better. Okay. How would you like to be remembered? Like.

03:06 I would like to be remembered just as a honest. Honest person and a good husband and a loving father. Or loving everything, really.

03:24 That's a good one. Okay, and the last one, I have a question for you. What's your dream house? Because you guys. You and mom keep talking about how you guys want to move. Like, what kind of house do you want?

03:36 A dream house. A perfect house would be a house about five acres, probably. Probably a house that has like four to five bedrooms, you know, about like 20002500 square feet. Feet. And then a guest house about like a quarter mile down. Yeah. With that guest house with like two to three bedroom as well.

04:05 Do you want a pool?

04:07 No. Pools?

04:08 No pools, no pools.

04:10 Cost money to maintain the season. Every season.

04:14 Okay, well, that's all the questions I have for you today. Thanks for interviewing with me. I wanted to interview you because I knew that you might have some stories to tell that I don't know yet. And. Yeah, you might have something to share. Say bye.

04:31 Bye. Thank you, Lana.
