Description

Alice Louise Ainsworth beat the odds and got out of a coal mining town in Pennsylvania to become a successful teacher. I asked Wheezie what was it like growing up and how did she ever go to college when no one in her town did. I was also curious as to how she paid for college since her family had none. Her parents were very poor and they lived in a chicken coop for awhile. She lost three brothers to illnesses. She beats the odds and pursued her dream of being a teacher. Her story is incredible.
