DescriptionThis is an interview with my grandpa Dau who was an Air Force pilot during the Vietnam War. He was captured and forced to stay in a communist prison camp where they were forced to do manual labor in order to survive and forced to find at least 20 pieces of bamboo each person in order to eat. You will hear about how he survived getting shot and his journey by boat to America to reunite with his wife and kids after 16 years. He speaks of his current hobbies of teaching Kung Fu and tending to his bonsai garden.
