00:01 Ryan Fawson My age is 71 years old. Today's date is December 1, 2022.

00:09 Okay, what is the worst thing that mom ever did?

00:23 I'm not answering this.

00:25 All right, next question.

00:30 Are you trying to get something on your mother?

00:34 All right, who were your parents and can you tell me about them?

00:40 Who were my parents?

00:42 Yeah.

00:43 Colin and Ryan They're the two best people in the world. So lucky to have them as parents. My father came from Halifax, Canada. My mother came from Marshfield, Massachusetts. And they met in the. Just before World War II in a company in Boston called Better Homes. And then after the war, they got married. And that's why you're here.

01:13 All right. Can you tell me about your childhood? Do you remember any of the stories that you like, they used to tell you?

01:23 Oh, yeah, I had a great chopper. I don't know about stories that. There was a ton of different stories, but I can't think of any off hand. But I had the best chocolate ever.

01:40 Let's see. Oh, you already said this. How did your grandpa. Or how did. How did you. Oh, wait. How did you and Grandma meet?

01:55 Don't remember.

02:01 What was my mom like growing up?

02:06 She was fun. Nothing like she is now. She was fun. She was a good kid. Never caused me any problems.

02:17 All right, let's see. Can you tell me the story of when they were born? Can you describe the moment when you saw them for the first time?

02:27 Saw who?

02:28 Mom.

02:29 Oh, I just. I was proud. I was proud to be her father. And of course, went around telling all my friends, thought it was a big shadow as a dad. Now, I didn't realize what it involved, but worked out. I got two grandsons.

02:52 All right, who were your grandparents and can you tell me about them?

02:58 I only knew my father's mother. His father died when he was 8 years old, so he never had a father growing up. But his mother was one of the nicest ladies. Every Sunday we'd go over there and have roast beef dinners at the church. And my mother's mother and father that lived in Marshfield were great people. My grandfather was quiet guy. He worked at John Hancock in Boston and had a nice house in Marshville. His wife was just a homemaker. Brought up two girls, my mother and her sister.

03:40 Do you know the story of how our family first came to this country?

03:48 I know my father came from Halifax, Canada, and my mother's mother came from Norway when she was a teenager.

04:07 Huh. Do you know any classic family stories, jokes or songs?

04:13 No.

04:17 Who were your favorite relatives? Can you Describe what they looked like or do you remember any of the stories they used to tell you?

04:29 Nothing that stands out.

04:33 All right, one last one. Let's see. Can you tell me where or like, what school you went to? And like, how do you like, grow up and stuff?

04:49 Well, I went to the school right here. So if class was at 8 o'clock, at five minutes to eight, I'd wake up, throw my clothes on, dump the fence, and I'd be in class. It was fun. It was great. As soon as school was out, I was home, hopped the fence and I was home. And then junior high was just as much fun, met a lot more people, and high school was the best. Everybody wants to grow up and get out of school and grow up and make money, but high school for me, I wish I would have been there for the rest of my life. We ruled, we played football, we ran track, won everything. We were gods.

05:36 All right, we'll do two more.

05:38 Oh, come on.

05:40 Did you have a nickname? And so if you can tell me a story of how you got it.

05:46 Skip, because my we're both Raymond, right? And there's way they describe between us.

05:55 All right, let's see one more. Can you tell me about your brother or sister? How would you describe them?

06:06 I don't want to talk about them right now.

06:08 Okay. All right, that's it.
