Description

Natasha Berrio (16) interviews her father Hugo Berrio (57) on November 28, 2021 in Egg Harbor Township New Jersey, about his experience growing up and living in Colombia for the first half of his life and then moving to the United states. Hugo shares his experience as a teenager growing up in Colombia at a time where Pablo Escobar (colombian man) was the biggest drug lord in the world and was dominating Medellin, the city he grew up in. He also talks about the moment he realizes that his destiny was to move to the United States and the challenges he faced before finally taking the leap of faith to leave his country and learn a new language. Hugo lastly discusses how he met his wife of 20 years/Natasha's mother.
