Description

My father and I discussed the experiences we had growing up in the same home town. We focused on what being Cuban meant to us here and how it is dificult to maintain culture as imigrant families continue to exist in the United States for generations. We discussed how race relations developed and continue to develop in our town and how the experiences we have had here influenced our perspective on race and identity. We touched upon how the generational differences between us made our experiences distinct from one another and how they shaped our values.
