Michele Koppes and Heidi Roop met “on an incredible landscape on the edge of the Greenland ice sheet about two years ago.” The conversation that followed made both of them think more closely about the value of science communication and how to better pursue it. Heidi talks about applying to the science communication job she currently holds from Greenland the very night of that conversation. Michele discusses the importance of listening to a diverse audience of people and hearing the stories they tell of their own land, history, and climate. (Recorded 12 December 2018)
