Description

Marcia Rieke has had to take a break from her job as a professor of astronomy at the University of Arizona recently because she is currently the principal investigator of the Near Infrared Camera being launched on the James Webb Space Telescope- not a bad deal! We talked to Rieke about working on James Webb since 1998, testing the telescope in the middle of Hurricane Harvey, and almost falling off a cliff while traveling to an observatory.
