DescriptionIn 1974, Sue Dondiego, along with her husband Bernie and their friend Hattie Talley founded the New Jersey Foster Parent Association, now known as foster care nonprofit Foster and Adoptive Family Services (FAFS). Sue and her biological daughter, Mary Grace, interview one another about the start of FAFS, how foster care has changed over the years and what they learned from the children they took into their home.
