Description

Fr. Andrew Ciferni, O.Praem., is the director of the Center for Norbertine Studies (CNS). His relationship with St. Norbert College (SNC) stretches back to 1959, when he joined the Norbertine Order and started his freshman year at SNC. He went on to Rome to complete his theological studies, and then earned his Ph.D. in liturgy from the University of Notre Dame. Although Fr. Andrew's home abbey is Daylesford Abbey in Paoli, PA, he has been "on loan" to St. Norbert College since the fall of 2013. As he prepares to return to Daylesford Abbey at the end of the 2017/2018 academic year, Dr. Rosemary Sands, the assistant director of the CNS, asked him to reflect upon his life as a Norbertine and upon his contributions to St. Norbert College.
