Description
My grandfather's journey from China to Taiwan: When he was 16, he was separated from his family during the Chinese Civil War. He got over it however, after joining and beginning to fight for the government. At 1949, he retreated with the KMT party to the island formerly known as Formosa, Taiwan. He then spends the next 32 years working for the Air Force, until his retirement in 1985 as a colonel.
