When you have 30 scientists waiting with extreme anticipation for their chance to collect the sub seafloor samples of sediment and hard rock crucial for their research at sea, you need someone on the team who knows what you want, when you want it, and how you want it. James Kowalski is the one you call! He was one of the curators from International Ocean Discovery Program.
