Description

Q: Where were you when the 9/11 incidient occured?
A: I was with my child sending him to school and I saw black smoke from far away. I did not know what happened. I went home afterwards and the radio said that the twin towers were under attack.

Q: How did you feel when the 9/11 attack occured?
A: I was scared and confused because I never expected this to happen. I was very sad that this happened.

Q: What was your first reaction to the attack and why?
A: Super shocked and very scared because I couldn't understand why this happened. I asked myself "Why?" and I continued to listen to the radio for an update.

Q: Why do you think 9/11 happened?
A: I think the terrorists did not appreciate the United States or believed in the values of the U.S, therefore they launched an attack as a way of fighting against U.S beliefs.

Q: How has the 9/11 experience change your life?
A: This experience made me scared to go to crowded places and monumental buildings because I was scared of something like this happening again for a very long time. I was also suspectful of others for a few years after this attack because you would never know in what shape or form the attack could happen by.

Q: Do you think the victims and their families are compensated fairly?
A: No because the suffering of victims and their families are worth more than just money paid back.

Q: Are you satisfied with the defensive measures taken by the United States government to prevent this again
A: I believe we should have more police and security around airports, buses, and other places where terrorist attacks could happen. More security checks in airports.

Q: Did the 9/11 incident affect your trust in the government?
A: Yes it negatively affected my trust in the government, but we should still continue to trust the government in their actions.
