The Importance of Family and Religion

In this interview for the 2019 Great Thanksgiving Listen, Jennifer Barralaga interviewed her mother, Maura Martinez asking about her life before moving to the United States, and the importance of religion to her. Maura explained that the country she grew up in, Honduras, is extremely poor and she faced many struggles. After, she moved to the United States, her life changed for the better and she is proud to have raised three amazing children. She also speaks about how religion is an important factor in her life. Maura was raised in a religious household and that influenced her to also teach her children about Christianity, and also to participate in our locate church.
