00:00 My name is Benjamin Wukusick I am 10 years old. Today is November 20, 2023. I'm speaking with John Sullivan, who is my grandpa. We're recording in Green, Ohio. Can you tell me about one of your happiest memories?

00:25 Oh, my God, my happiest memories. Oh, boys. Oh, boys. I was going to Bills games with my kids, going fishing, and that's about all I can think of right now.

00:43 Okay. What do you feel most grateful for in your life?

00:47 Your family.

00:50 What is your favorite thing? What is your favorite thing about your family?

00:55 Oh, how they behave and they have fun and they are, knock on wood, they're healthy, which is a big plus, very important. And I get to see all my grandkids.

01:09 Who are your parents and can you tell me about them?

01:13 Who were my parents?

01:15 Yeah.

01:16 Oh, they're Dennis and Hannah Sullivan. I came from County Curie, Ireland, and my father was a carpenter and my mother was a mother and a homemaker, and they were hard workers, and they came to the United States from Ireland and they had a bunch of kids and we had some fun.

01:40 Can you tell me about your childhood? Do you remember any of the stories they used to tell you that my parents told us? Yeah.

01:50 Oh, it's a little bit about growing up in Ireland, not a lot. And stuff our parents told us.

01:57 Yeah.

02:00 About growing up in Ireland and staying out of trouble.

02:04 Can you tell me anything else about your childhood?

02:07 Oh, it was a lot of fun. We went and we had paper routes and we played football and basketball and everything else in the neighborhood. And we'd always go to work with my father and different jobs, and we just had fun in the neighborhood. It was pretty good.

02:29 What was your favorite thing to do in your childhood?

02:37 I don't play basketball.

02:40 How did you and Grandma meet?

02:43 Oh, at Buffalo. Irish Gaelic football.

02:52 What were you guys doing there?

02:56 We were playing. Playing Gaelic football and then going to the bar afterwards at the club. Are you going to add like a.

03:07 Thank you at the end? Okay. Thanks for being. Agreeing to being interviewed.

03:13 Thank you very much, Benjamin. It was fun. I liked it. You're doing a good job.

03:18 Thanks.
