Kathleen Gaffney and Valerie Wood-Lewis

Valerie Wood-Lewis (VWL) talks about her curiosity leading her to participate in OSS and wanting to expand her understanding of other viewpoints. Kathleen Gaffney (KG) says she doesn't see many conservative voices represented in Chittenden County.

KG says she doesn't want a party to dictate what she should vote on.

VWL talks about reasons for homeschooling her children, and moving to Vermont because she and her husband wanted a more progressive state, and natural beauty.

KG shares that her dad died suddenly when she was 8 years old and how losing him so young taught her to be independent and to appreciate life.

VWL values worth, dignity, inter-connectedness and inclusivity.

KG says she's a constitutional conservative and a feminist...and values animal rights.
