Representative Brenda Lopez Romero, who made history as she was the first latina elected official to the Georgia general assembly. She was sworn in 2017. She’s a proud gwinnettian, attorney and small business owner. When she’s not working at the capitol she’s at the law firm, she’s the principal attorney at the Lopez Firm focuses on removal and family based immigration. She is involved in political, legal, and education advocacy. She’s a strong voice for progressive issues, expanding public transit, pk-12 education, voter rights, and more.
