Description

A mother, Gong Yan Fang is interviewed by her son. She is asked about her life as a child, her family whom she hasn't seen for a while. Though unsure of what a new place would bring her, she still made the decision of coming to america. With this came many new hardship including the language barrier and no one to rely on. But even so, she worked through as she states, "there's no such thing as free, you must work for that." This led to the meeting of her husband and even though she still struggles with the language barrier, she takes it upon herself to keep on practicing and work for it.
