In this interview, recorded on the 28th of November, 2021 in Flower Mound, Texas, Madeleine (Maddy) Shearer (15) interviews her little brother Thomas Shearer (13) about the intricate issues of the world they live in, as well as heroes, dishonest politicians, Joseph McCarthy, and much, much more. Maddy begins the interview by asking her brother about his personal life and bringing up stories from his childhood. She then delves into questions about being a teenager, how one can manage themselves in the midst of a pandemic, and how our heroes shape us as people. At the end of the interview both speakers share some interesting (albeit somewhat unrelated) facts about sports, politicians, and the likes. They share the sentiment that they’ve had an interesting conversation and share a heartfelt goodbye.
