Emma Cortes (16) and her mother Carmela Cortes (47) discuss what it was like when Carmela had a stroke 9 years ago. Emma was freshly 8 years old when these events took place and Carmela was 39. They talk about how this event has affected their lives long term and what it was like when it first happened. It is a very insightful discussion and Emma learned a lot about the situation that her mother was in when she first had the stroke and how lives with it to this day.
