Long Pond neighbor and former crew member (1970s) Nat Nichols in conversation with PCI board member and former kitchen crew member (1973-75) Caroline Chapin.
Nat’s roots at Pinewoods run deep. His mother, Nancy Bird Nichols was friends with many early Pinewoods families in the Boston suburbs in the 1950s/60s and Nat spent every summer on Long Pond in his mother’s family summer cottage. As a child he
played with staff children at camp before joining the camp crew at the age of 15.
