Description

My name is Samantha Colombi and this is an interview with my dad, John Colombi. His firefighter days have always been a touchy subject, therefore, I have never asked about them in any extreme detail. Today my curiosity took over and I was lucky enough for him to be more than willing to sit down and have a conversation with me for this story. The main topics we cover include his college drop out, life in the firehouse, the acceptance of the New York City Medal of Honor, and the 9/11 attacks on the twin towers.
