Description

Curt Niebur is the Lead Program Scientist for Planetary Flight Programs at NASA Headquarters, which means that he works on all the NASA robotic missions that don’t go to Mars- you know, a very small mom-and-pop operation. We talked to Curt about navigating being a young scientist at NASA headquarters when he started out, how he wouldn’t be anywhere in his career without his wife, and enforcing a work-life balance for himself and his colleagues. We also discussed how to do science while a documentary crew is hovering over you at all times.
