In this interview, conducted November 2018 in Vestavia Hills, Alabama, Queenie Samaha (16) interviews her neighbor and relative Donna Smaha (65) about her childhood growing up and significant events that have occurred during her lifetime. Mrs. Smaha talks about what it was like growing up with new colored TVs. She also mentions events such as the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing, the assassination of JFK, the Vietnam War, 9/11, and growing up during the Civil Rights Movement.
