Renu Aunty was my neighbor for the past 12 years. Over the years, my relationship with her got so close that I consider her as my grandmother. This video is about her experiences as a student in America. We talk about why she came here in the 80's, how she was able to complete her Bachelors in 2 years, take care of her son, and work two jobs. Also, we talk about how she used her education to help women in India. Finally, we have a discussion about her future educational pursuits, some stories about kids she has taught, and what she thinks the purpose of education is in life.
