Seeing A Hidden Side of My Grandmother

Description

The person that I decided to interview is my grandmother from my Filipino and Indian American side, Ardella. I am close with my grandmother but we never really discuss her childhood, upbringing, or her successes. My grandmother is not a very emotional person, and I’ve only seen her cry twice in my life, but during this interview I was able to capture her sensitive and emotional side. Hearing about her experiences make me realize how and why she is the way she is, which is: strong, hardworking, and an achiever. We were able to touch bases on her views of religion, a glimpse of her childhood to teenage life, and some of the advice she has for herself and others.
