Description

Sharon Sorrentino would sing the opening song, Stevie Wonder’s “My Cherie Amour,'' to her daughter, Sierra Sorrentino, constantly when she was a baby. Perhaps it was her choir background that gave her the chops to adapt the great Wonder’s lyrics to, “My Sierramour.” She discusses her over 7-year-long journey towards pregnancy and what she believes aided her in, finally, having a child-- a Native American smudging ceremony and the passing of Sierra’s grandfather. While pregnant, Sharon was tutoring, delivering newspapers, and working towards her MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where later she graduated with honors.

Besides her singing abilities and being a multifaceted super-mom, Sharon, now 57, is also a taxation director at Anthem Blue Cross and a shareholder of the NFL team, the Green Bay Packers -- along with the other 360,000 Cheeseheads. (You can take the girl out of Wisconsin, can’t take Wisconsin out of the girl).
