Stella Neuschul (18) interviewed her mother, Vedrana Pinjo (46) about her perspective and experience with the American Dream as an immigrant. Vedrana immigrated to America over 25 years ago as she was fleeing the Bosnian War. She was exactly Stella's age when she was required to become 100% independent and start a new life in a foreign country. Vedrana shares what she thinks the American Dream embodies and who has access to it. She relates these "definitions" to her own experiences with the American Dream.
