DT talks about her current family of 8 kids, and using WIC services for over 20 years. DT speaks about changes to WIC that she has seen in that period of time, such as being able to go the farmer's market.
DT talks about difficulties in shopping between stores, and how grocers are often helpful to WIC recipients. DT speaks about COVID-19 in relation to using WIC services and taking care of 8 children at home.
JJ speaks with DT about issues dealing with red tape in relation to WIC, foster care, and social services. DT recalls instances in which she had received infants in need of care very suddenly, often related to the current opioid crisis.
TE reflects on being a WIC provider for the past 20 years, and the changes, challenges, and successes she has seen.
