Description

Lindsey Monito, a physical properties specialist from IODP Expedition 403, discovered that sailing for two months on the scientific drilling vessel JOIDES Resolution provided the amazing opportunity for not only scientific discoveries but casual conversations with scientists from across the globe. Lindsey shares several examples of the stories this international science party exchanged around the topics of food, sports, and the need to be careful of the jargon used in the laboratory to describe cores.
