One Small Step participants Tyler Beam (44) and Sarah Davis (40) discuss their experiences living abroad, what it's like pursuing a second career and master's degree in their forties, their political beliefs, and their spiritual identities.

S says she was born and raised in Texas. She says she grew up playing a lot of sports and going to a Nazzarine church. S says she got involved in choir and discovered she had a voice. She says she pursued music professionally, and traveled the country. S adds that she is now pursuing a second career in gerontology.
T says he was born in Oklahoma and also played a lot of sports growing up. He adds that he grew up Christian in the Church of Christ. He says he got away from the church for nineteen years. T talks about his time spent living in Latin America. T adds that he is now getting his masters in clinical mental health counseling.
