After a life changing moment, Wendy Cornelisen decided to switch professions and become a librarian. In less than 7 years, Wendy went from being a student in graduate school to becoming the Assistant State Librarian for the state of Georgia. In this interview, Wendy talks about opportunities and skills that have helped her succeed. In addition, Wendy discusses a leadership building program coordinated by Georgia Public Library Service called PINNACLE that is strengthening Georgia libraries and her thoughts on how we can all support the future of libraries. Casey Long recorded and edited this interview. The interview took place in Columbus, GA at the Georgia Libraries Conference in October 2018.
