Description

In this interview, conducted in November 2018 in Chantilly, Virginia, Yara Alsakbani (15) interviews her Grandpa, Atah Awwad (61) about his childhood in Palestine, and his life afterwards in Syria. In addition to his childhood, Atah talks about his life when he served in the Aircraft portion of the military, his family, as well as his beliefs and his life after the military and how he’s been affected.
