Description
After being abandoned by Zulina’s father, her mother decided to leave everything behind and start a new life for her and her two daughters and head to the United States to find a job, give a better education to them, and overrall a better life. Zulina immigrated to the US at the age of 9 from Mexico in 1998. She grew up in Austin, Texas where she was given the education she always wanted to have. Zulina is 29 years old now, and has obtained DACA status which opened many doors for her in life, yet she is still left with fear to lose this status.Participants
